Who is Eric Porteous?
Originally born in New Jersey, I moved to Arizona when I was only 6 years old. I grew up in the desert, and, believe it or not, I love it. I attended Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in Communication.
I have always had a passion for helping people of all ages. When I was in 8th grade, I volunteered as an umpire for the local Little League, and at the age of 19, began a 6-year journey as a head coach. I have volunteered with non-profits that work with teenagers, young adults, and kids who have been orphaned. I also like to offer guidance to adults with their finances.
I live with my beautiful wife Alissa and our sons Kellen and Nolan in Gilbert, Arizona. I enjoy writing, public speaking, sports, and working out. In my free time, you can find me on the softball field or training for my next marathon.
Through all this and more, I have had some extraordinary experiences, and that’s the way I like it. I’m an ordinary guy who wants to live an extraordinary life.
